No matter how old I get, some things will never stop being fun. Cirque Stupendo & Dr. Eli Calico’s Medicine Show is one of those things. Even as I quickly approach 30, I can still be caught in childlike awe when presented with jugglers, belly dancing, singing saws, hula hooping, and accordion players on wheels. In fact, I felt like having a huge tantrum when I had to leave halfway through the show, screaming “But I don’t wanna go to dinner, I want to see fire dancing!!” So here’s what I saw during the first half of this whimsical, skillful display of the most useless talents you always wished you’d learned.
