Iowa City rock band Younger, featuring local indie veterans Amanda Crosby, Rachel Sauter and Sarah Mannix (from Emperors Club, The Wandering Bears and others) are preparing for the release of their self-titled debut LP, engineered by Pete Becker.

“It’s a killer fucking record that is currently changing my life.” wrote Becker in an email — high praise from the seasoned engineer, currently on staff at the Englert Theatre, where he recorded the band.

The album was mastered by Colin Ritchie (also of Emperors Club), and will be released on April 4, when Younger perform at the Yacht Club with Jim Jarmusch’s SQÜRL, as part of the 10th annual Mission Creek Festival. They sent Little Village this track ahead of the release. Check it out, and enjoy the show!
