Letter to the editor: Susan Mims is ‘the best candidate’ for Iowa City Council District B

Susan Mims — Still by Jason Smith

Suzanne Bentler

I am writing in support of Susan Mims for Iowa City Council. I value city council members who are smart, well prepared, open minded and compassionate. Susan exemplifies these attributes.

I respect her ability to work hard to understand the issues, listen to the voices and knowledge of others and be willing to compromise to come up with solutions that benefit the community. I urge you to do your homework as a citizen of this community and choose the best candidate for the District B seat.

I’ve done my homework and in my opinion, the best candidate is Susan Mims for the District B seat. Please join me in voting for Susan Mims, Mazahir Salih and Kingsley Botchway for the Iowa City Council.
