Gabe’s is celebrating Halloween in local, DIY fashion this Saturday night with a haunting lineup of indie-pop band Dylan Sires and Neighbors (Cedar Falls/Waterloo), electro-pop group Little Ruckus (Fairfield) and Iowa City’s own Brooks Strause and The Gory Details. The eclectic lineup is gearing up to celebrate the ghostly holiday and also to celebrate the release of tiny mind MASSIVE soul, the debut LP by Iowa City multimedia artist Dana T’s.

Dana T (Dana Telsrow) describes his style as classified “Avant-Everything,” and songs from recent EPs have proven this to be true with upbeat and spontaneous leaps from jazz instrumentation to folky pop beats. The album’s single, “Erase Myself,” serves as a teaser for tiny mind MASSIVE soul and exemplifies this album’s sophisticated, organized compositions.
