Isabella Rossellini’s Green Porno, Live on Stage

FilmScene announced today that Isabella Rossellini will perform Green Porno, Live on Stage at the Englert Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. She was originally scheduled to perform this past April as part of Mission Creek Festival but had to cancel her appearance due to a personal conflict.
Rossellini is perhaps best known for her work as an actor, starring in films like Big Night, Wild at Heart and Blue Velvet. Green Porno, Live is an adaptation of the Sundance Channel series that Rossellini writes, stars in and directs — also called Green Porno — which is made up of informative, comic vignettes discussing and depicting animal and insect mating habits. On May 17, Ovation TV will air a 60-minute documentary about Rossellini’s one-woman live performances.
Tickets for the performance will go on sale at 12 p.m. this Friday, May 8 and cost $35-$125.
