When asked about the possibility of prosecuting members of the Bush Administration for war crimes commited in Iraq and Afghanistan, democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) told Little Village, “Torture is not what the United States of America should be about.” Those who made the decision to transgress on what the United Nations calls a basic human right should be held accountable, Sanders says.
