It’s been a stressful year for Ralph Garman, from being let go by KROQ-FM to one of his best friends suffering a near-death heart attack. But in the wake of Kevin Smith’s recovery and the kick-off of Garman’s podcast “The Ralph Report,” the comedian is excited to step back on stage.

Filmmaker Kevin Smith is returning to Iowa in April. Smith and comedian Ralph Garmin will be recording their podcast Hollywood Babble-on at Codfish Hollow Barnstormers in Maquoketa on Saturday, April 28, and at The Englert Theater in Iowa City on the next night.
