Minneapolis based hip-hop duo Moodie Black will bring their noisy, experimental style of rap to the Yacht Club on Saturday. The brainchild of MC and producer of K. (Chris Martinez) and guitarist Sean Lindahl, Moodie Black have had their abrasive sound tagged with variety of experimental hip hop genre labels like noise rap, post rap, and rap-gaze. Moodie Black’s music is certainly harsh — the beats mixing industrial soundscapes with feedback, white noise, and sound experiments.
