The Java House has been branching out into having more live performances of late, and a week after a wonderfully raucous show at the Mill, Kate (of Lipstick Homicide & Boo Hoos) and Sam (of Miracles of God & SLW & the Boo Hoos) did an acoustic show. Now obviously, 2 posts with audio, from the same people, a week apart may seem like editorial favoritism. And it probably is. But I record when I go out, so my idiosyncratic preferences and cronyism are going to be a big factor. If it bothers anyone, well this isn’t Iran — I won’t cut off your hand if you don’t listen.
And if it’s any consolation, I recorded the whole Mountains/Tape/Marlo Eggplant show from February 1st and that will go up, pending permission…
