My name is Emily Domingues, and as a decade-long resident of Johnson County, I am proud to endorse Rod Sullivan for Supervisor.
I had the pleasure of meeting Rod and working closely with him through the 2020 Democratic Caucus season when I served as his co-captain for our precinct. Through organizing our neighbors, learning about what matters to them, and successfully delivering Johnson County for our candidate, I learned a lot about Rod.
He’s a hard worker. He’s diligent, and he shows up. He listens thoughtfully. Most of all, he deeply cares about this place, his neighbors, and our collective future.
Rod is a steady hand, has solid relationships with the people it takes to get things done, and he invests in the political future of our county by mentoring the next generation of leaders.
I’d love for you to join me in voting for Rod Sullivan in the June 2nd, 2026 Democratic Primary.

I am writing to offer a letter of support for you to please publish. I have attached it as a word document, but in case it is simpler to just copy and paste directly from this email message, here it is below as well:
I am writing today to share my support for Rod Sullivan to be re-elected as a County Supervisor in Johnson County.
Rod has been a strong advocate for improving the treatment of people living with severe mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders (as well as many other vulnerable populations) here in Johnson County for more years than I have even known him. In addition, I have learned a great deal from Rod about how different systems work, how funding is structured and some of the people whom I have needed to meet and talk with as we worked to get our state’s first AOT (Assisted Outpatient Treatment) program started. I have respect for Rod’s institutional knowledge, but also for his willingness to listen to new ideas, with an open mind. He has my full support for another term as one of our county supervisors.

We enthusiastically support Rod Sullivan in his reelection bid to the Johnson County Board of Supervisors. A continuous advocate for all of his constituents, he absolutely deserves another term.
Rod is truly a “Renaissance man” in his community interests. We regularly see him at sporting events, live theatre performances, benefits, and numerous meetings of social services and other organizations. Whether the event is door knocking, a candidate forum, or any place an extra pair of hands is helpful, you’ll find Rod. His loyalty and devotion are unquestionable as he works tirelessly for the common good of Johnson County.
In his personal life, Rod and spouse Melissa Fath have fostered more than 50 children. Their impressive family of young adults, now including beloved grandchildren, found their way in Rod and Melissa’s home.
Rod is always eager to engage on community issues. Even if we disagree with his position, he is openminded, cordial and willing to discuss differences in a thoughtful, well informed and civil manner. In these days of highly partisan politics, he stands out as fair, kind and respectful. Plus — come warm weather, he’ll happily play catch with anyone who asks!
Please join us in voting for Rod Sullivan for County Supervisor. No one will take his responsibilities more seriously, or work harder to represent his constituents.
