Gabe’s — Saturday, June 13 at 9 p.m.

Five-piece experimental rock group mewithoutYou will perform at Gabe’s this Saturday in support of their upcoming album release, Pale Horses.

After five full-length albums, Pale Horses is the first release under Run for Cover Records, known for artists such as Whirr, Tigers Jaw and Pity Sex. And although the release is on a new record label, their eclectic narrative songs are stronger than ever. Prior releases have demonstrated the band’s strong ties to god and faith, though mewithoutYou’s storytelling abilities are widely praised across believers and nonbelievers alike.

Joining mewithoutYou are St. Louis-based band Foxing and Philadelphia duo Lithuania. With their latest album The Albatross (A remastered version of their 2013 debut, newly released under Triple Crown Records), Foxing’s vulnerable sound make this release the perfect “on repeat” album for those looking for an emo kick. Coming in with a little more grit, Lithuania is comprised of two good friends, and while they only sporadically make music, it has an intense, garage-rock vibe that is bound for some serious head bobbing.
