Gabe’s and The Yacht Club will host an Iowa City Music Showcase beginning at Gabe’s at 7 p.m. this Saturday, presented by the Iowa City Music Scene. Music fans only need to pay one small cover charge of $5 to see all nine shows at both venues. The evening features a lineup of local talent including The Sapwoods, Mad Monks and 5 in a Hand. The show culminates with a two hour performance from the gritty, four-man group Porch Builder until 2 a.m.
