Those that follow Iowa City’s game day police reports may have noticed one arrest in particular involving an incredibly intoxicated fan.

Goudie, Samantha Lynne, 22 of Iowa City, IA for Public Intox at Kinnick Stadium at 1321 hours. Goudie was stopped for trying to enter the field. Goudie was unsteady on her feet. Goudie blew .341 PBT.

Deadspin picked up on this remarkable (potentially lethal) feat after “somebody found her Twitter account,” which led the popular sports blog to publish a timeline of Goudie’s alcohol-soaked escapades. Here are some of Goudie’s Tweets from the last 48 hours:

So, amid the University of Iowa’s unending campaign to disassociate itself from the party school reputation that precedes it, this is a thing that happened. Not that big of a deal, right?

Except Deadspin receives huge amounts of traffic, and in the last few hours “vodka_samm” has popped up in more than 1,300 Tweets. Several thousand people from across the nation have taken to Twitter to follow Goudie (she’s gained about 500 followers since I started writing this blog post), including New York Magazine editor Justin Miller.

At this time, Goudie continues to receive shout-outs from across the country, which she has diligently retweeted by the dozen. A simple Google search for “.341” shows just how far this story has spread over the last six hours.

Meanwhile, at Liquor Downtown (via Those Iowa Boys):

How pissed is UI President Sally Mason right now? Pretty pissed, right?
