Taco Comedy Showcase

Public Space One — Thursday, July 30 at 7 p.m.

Tonight at 7 p.m., Public Space One is set to host Tacomedy Thursday — a monthly series put together by local comedian Jason Jeffers (aka Q-tip) — where patrons have the option to eat tasty tacos while enjoying free comedy.

The idea for ‘Tacomedy Thursday’ struck Jeffers when he realized he could put a free show together and “just sell tacos on the side, which is fun and less cash restrictive.”

“Thursday got added because we’re not gonna let the man tell us which days it’s acceptable to eat and sell tacos,” Jeffers said.

The show will feature comedians Arash Singh (former Little Village culture editor), Ava Cheyenne, James Oxblood Oxheart Doyle, Anthony Jade Natarelli and Ashley Huck.

Vegetarian? No problem! Thursday’s show will also offer bean tacos.
