Video: Koplant No on Little Village Live, 6/29/11

This week on Little Village Live we hosted progressive jazz group Koplant No. This local ensemble features a contemporary electronic edge to complement their classic jazz compositions, resulting in a group that has fast become a staple of the Iowa City music scene. You may have already caught the group once or twice, perhaps at one of their consecutive Iowa City Jazz Festival performances, but we’re of the opinion that they’re always worth another listen or two. And so, dear readers, we bestow this video to you.

Little Village Live, hosted by Matt Steele and Lisa Stark, broadcasts from Public Space One every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on KRUI 89.7 FM. Shows are open to the public and free to attend. Snacks and refreshments are provided by the New Pioneer Coop, so join us for some free music, free company and free refreshments.

As always, Little Village Live can be streamed live online for those without a radio handy.
