Video: Del the Funky Homosapien, Mac Lethal and Bukue One

It’s hard to say how you’d qualify the success of a magazine’s tenth anniversary party, but I feel fairly confident in our go at things. We weren’t exactly sure what to expect, but a stream of hip hop fans circling the block of one of Iowa City’s largest venues was a pleasant start to the evening.

Let me end this bit of navel gazing with a big thank you to all of those who made it out for the festivities, as well as our sponsors at The Blue Moose Tap House, Leinenkugel’s and The Wedge Pizzaria. The night was a tremendous success for all of those involved, including the performers, so I’ve been told.

Lets move on to the important stuff, shall we? Del the Funky Homosapien, Mac Lethal, Bukue One and the Serendipity Project put on one high-energy hip hop show , and we’d be remiss if you might somehow miss this footage. For those who just can’t quite seem to get enough, A.C. Hawley and Adrianne Behning have some great thoughts and photos to share, respectively.
