Grocery store chain Trader Joe’s, with its Hawaiian shirt-clad employees, will bring its blend of worldly foods and beverages to Coralville’s Iowa River Landing in the second half of 2017.

The new Coralville store will be approximately 13,000 square feet and will be located on the southeast corner of I-80 and 1st Avenue North, according to a press release published Monday by the City of Coralville.

Trader Joe’s, which started in Los Angeles in 1958, now has more than 459 stores in 41 states. Currently, the only other Iowa location is in West Des Moines.
