The Millstream Brewing Company is inviting cyclists to warm up their legs and palates for RAGBRAI on the 13th annual Tour de Brew this Saturday, July 12.

Registration for the 38-mile tour costs $25 and will take place at the brewery (835 48th Ave., Amana) from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The tour will take riders through Norway, Blairstown and West Amana before returning to Millstream. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Amana Colonies Recreational Trail.

At each stop, riders will be able to quench their thirst with a Millstream beer. Millstream co-owner Teresa Albert said a keg of root beer and a keg of water for riders to refill water bottles will also be available. At the end of the race, riders will be able to enjoy grilled Amana brats. Starting at 1 p.m., Let It Ride will provide live music at the Millstream biergarten.

Albert said the tour is also a poker run. Riders will be given a poker card at every stop, and those with the best poker hand at the end of the tour will receive door prizes provided by Millstream and World of Bikes.
