Canadian indie pop band Alvvays make their Iowa City debut Friday at the Blue Moose Tap House. Alvvays (pronounced “always”) has been one of the more notable bands to emerge in 2014, and for good reason. Their self-titled breakout album is a brisk yet captivating 30 minutes, chock full of fuzzy guitars and tight hooks.
