Illinois John Fever @ The Mill, Friday 7/16

The FEVER is BACK! Oh yeah, you thought the H1N1 scare was over, but it’s back in the form of awesome happy-fun-times folk. That’s right, Illinois John Fever is back and at the Mill this Friday night with Seth Winger, Iowa Hagan Myers and Sacred Harp. Illinois John Fever is a long-standing staple in the Iowa City folk scene, blowing away audiences with their Americana roots folk that has a tendency to get rowdy and ransacking the minds of those who miss the rambling, goofy nature of early American folk. This is a show you seriously do not want to miss, especially if you’ve never caught the Fever. They’ll be quarantining the Mill on Friday starting at 9:00 for the more than reasonable admission of $6.00. GET INFECTED.
