Show Photos: Mission Bleak: Super Sonic Piss @ Tobacco Bowl – 3/31

I love shows in places where shows don’t usually happen. I was especially stoked for this one – not only because SSP is the real deal, but also because I could smoke inside at a show again….a reminder of days of yore, before ordinances and laws messed it all up. Of course the Bowl was packed, the lights out, amps were cranked and the band was on pointe. I sorta climbed up on what little free space there was on the counter and snapped a few shots. Then the massive, pulsing crowd shifted, and so did the counter….and I retreated to a “safer” corner behind a speaker. I wouldn’t mind getting carried away in the sea, but my camera wouldn’t fare so well, I’m sure. As soon as they finished they ordered us all to PS1 for yet more “afterhours” music……..stay tuned….more photos of THAT to come…..
