Iowa City Police have released security video showing an April 15 burglary at Hookah Cove (357 East College Street) in the hopes of identifying the suspect. CrimeStoppers is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to this suspect’s arrest. Full press release and video below.
On Monday, April 15th, at approximately 9:00am, Iowa City Police responded to the Hookah Cove at 357 E College Street reference a report that the business had been burglarized overnight. Upon viewing video from store security cameras, an unknown suspect gained entry to the business by breaking the glass in the front door. Once inside the suspect went through several display cases and left the business with merchandise, including some cartons of cigarettes. The suspect remains at large and unidentified. The Iowa City Police are releasing the security video in hopes that someone may recognize the suspect.
Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information leading to the arrest of this suspect.
