Run the Jewels, Weezer, Wilco, Jenny Lewis, Talib Kweli and more to play 80/35

The organizers of 80/35 Music Festival today made their first headlining announcement for the 2015 lineup. Among the acts announced are Run the Jewels, Weezer, Wilco, Jenny Lewis and Talib Kweli. The eighth annual music festival will be held in downtown Des Moines’s Western Gateway Park on Friday and Saturday, July 10 and 11. More bands will be announced in May.

Headlining the festival Friday is Chicago alt-country act Wilco. Friday’s lineup also features indie rock musician Jenny Lewis, synth-pop group St. Lucia and Brooklyn rapper Talib Kweli. Saturday’s lineup features Weezer, hip-hop duo Run The Jewels, the funk band Lettuce and indie-rock act Cloud Nothings.

Advance one-day and two-day tickets are now on sale.
