Since KRUI has hunkered down at Public Space One for the week, they have seen a myriad of performers trek through. On Thursday, I snuck down there just in time to catch Kim, Thurston and Chris chatting with our lovely KRUI djs. They were followed up by Das Racist, who sat in as guest djs for a bit. Both groups played shows later that same night. The Sonic Youth folks filled up the Mill after participating in another panel discussion at the Englert. The fellas of Das Racist also hit up two venues post PS1–an early reading at Motley Cow and then a late show at the Yacht Club.
I’ll have photos from the Mill for you later today (I think.) It’s soooo hard to sit home and watermark photos when there is ALL this stuff going on!! I hope you folks are taking advantage of the incredible talent that is gracing our stages this week. If not, I guess you’ll just have to live vicariously through all of us that were there to see it and photograph it. That, said, here are a few photos.
