If you’re a fan of comedy, or a night owl with three bucks to spare on a Monday night, consider checking out the Catacombs Of Comedy Showcase at the Yacht Club.
I was able to make it down to the weekly open mic for the first time this week and had a blast. With the exception of the always funny Tom Garland, I hadn’t seen any of these comedians before, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the acts. Every performer had the crowd chuckling.
Check out some highlights from the evening below! My favorite sets of the night came from local Jake Vevera and Iowa native (and open mic co-founder) Keegan Buckingham who was in town from Chicago.
