The 80/35 Music Festival covered Des Moines’ Water Works Park in confetti on the first of two great (and hot!) nights of performances from national, international and Iowa acts alike.
The first day of the festival — Friday, July 12 — saw tDreamer Isioma, Halfloves and Jim Swim take the stage, among others.
As the day turned to night, headliner OK Go took to the main stage, complete with confetti canon fanfares.
The second day of the festival on Saturday kept the energy going with Winona Fighter, Bully, Acid Legs, Mr. Softheart and a whole lot of other acts hitting up the multiple stages of the festival.
The 2024 festival culminated in the return of Killer Mike to the festival main stage. (He previously performed at 80/35 as one half of the hip-hop duo Run the Jewels.)
