Maha Music Festival

Aksarben Village in Omaha, Nebraska — Aug. 15

Omaha’s MAHA festival announced Sunday that Modest Mouse will headline its 2015 festival taking place August 15 at Aksarben Village. Modest Mouse will be appearing in support of the much anticipated album Strangers to our Ourselves, their first full release in eight years.

In addition to Modest Mouse, the MAHA line-up features other notable indie-rock acts like Alvvays, who visited Iowa City in December, and Speedy Ortiz (performing at Gabe’s on May 3), and The Good Life, a band led by Cursive frontman Tim Kasher. Other highlights include electronic pop act Purity Ring and underground hip-hop veteran duo Atmosphere.

The lineup also features Ex Hex, Wavves, The Jayhawks, Freakabout, Both, and All Young Girls Are Machine Guns.

Ticket info and more details on the festival are available on the Maha Music Festival website.
