Maximum Ames Music Fest announces lineup details

The Maximum Ames Music Festival (MAMF) is returning this fall for its third year, and festival organizers have just announced the first lineup details.

Ames isn’t exactly local, but just take a look at that lineup! MAMF is not only bringing in a number of excellent national talents like Murder by Death, Meat Puppets and The Hood Internet, but also some of Iowa City’s best, including Brooks Strause & the Gory Details, Lipstick Homicide and Samuel Locke Ward & the Garbage Boy. This is your chance to support the Iowa City music scene by making a trip out to Ames. Relish the ambivalence!

MAMF runs from September 26-29 across 20 performance spaces. Check out the official website and Facebook page for ticket information and continued schedule updates.
