On Tuesday, Aug. 9, the Englert Theatre welcomes two great tastes that taste great together! Musicians Les Claypool (Primus) and Sean Lennon came together as individuals after touring together one summer with their respective musical projects. The resulting album, a sonorous slice of psychedelia called โ€˜Monolith of Phobos,โ€™ came out June 3, much to the delight of space rock fans everywhere.

The pair, bundled under the moniker the Claypool Lennon Delirium, is keeping the magic going with a tour in support of the album. Lennon and Claypool stretched their musical muscles playing all parts on the recording, but they do bring along additional performers for their live performances.

The show is now sold out.

Genevieve Trainor lives in Iowa City, Iowa. Passions include heavy music, hoppy beer, and hidden rooms.
