A talk by actress and activist Laverne Cox, slated for next Monday, Feb. 1 at 5 p.m, at the Iowa Memorial Union, has been canceled due to a “recent scheduling conflict,” according to a press release from the University of Iowa Office of Outreach and Engagement. The lecture was to be part of the Just Living themed semester. The release said that the two bodies are “working to reschedule and will share next steps when available.”
