Is this the best police blotter entry of 2013?

At around 9 a.m. on September 7, Iowa City police were called to 529 East Washington St. after receiving a noise complaint from a very angry, sleep-deprived individual. While voicing his/her complaint, said individual may have inadvertently (or perhaps intentionally?) created one of the best ICPD log entries of 2013.

The entry starts off simple enough, but then things get a little peculiar. The ICPD’s daily activity log states:

CORNER HOUSE // 40 PEOPLE SPILLING OUT ONTO SIDEWALK // COMP THINKS THEY NEED AN OFFICIAL WARNING OR AN OFFICIAL $750 FINE // COMP HAS BEEN HEARING NOISE SINCE MIDNIGHT // COMP BELIEVES THEY ARE PROBABLY ON RED BULL // COMP DEMANDS TO SEE THIS CALL ON THE POLICE BLOTTER // COMP STATES SHE IS WORKING WITH ICPD 51 AND THE CHIEF TO MAKE SURE HER NEIGHBORHOOD DOESN^T GO DOWN THE TOILET
