“@iCareeGuns: The way Patriots roll! #IStandWithPhil #DuckCommander pic.twitter.com/Q9t2XID59I” Just sayin’

Just in time for the holidays comes a splendorous Tweet from Iowa state representative Jason Schultz who, In 140 characters or less, manages to compare the Affordable Care Act to the recent homophobic remarks made by Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson.
The nonsensical image — originally shared by Twitter user @iCareeGuns — reads, “More Americans have shown support for Phil Robertson in 24 hours than the total number of people that have signed up for Obamacare in 3 months!”
Just below the image caption, an upside down American flag is shown alongside the tagline, “United We Fall,” because what good are these image macros if they don’t incorporate some sort of creepy melodrama, right?
Schultz shared the image, but not before adding his own commentary, “Just sayin’.”
This brings up an important question, though. Just sayin’ what? Is this a Culture War thing? Are we making some kind of point about the triumph of morals? Is this just a bash against the Affordable Care Act — that it’s so unpopular, even homophobes are garnering more support? It’s hard to say.
Regardless, Schultz is a big fan.

If you’ve managed to steer clear thus far, Entertainment Weekly gives a rundown of Robertson’s anti-gay remarks. A&E suspended the Duck Dynasty star last week amid a slew of criticism.
“Everything is blurred on whatโs right and whatโs wrongโฆ Sin becomes fine. Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.” Robertson then paraphrased Corinthians from the Bible: “Donโt be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlersโthey wonโt inherit the kingdom of God. Donโt deceive yourself. Itโs not right.”
And if that wasnโt explicit enough, the “Duck Commander” added: “It seems like, to me, a vaginaโas a manโwould be more desirable than a manโs anus. Thatโs just me. Iโm just thinking: Thereโs more there! Sheโs got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what Iโm saying? But hey, sin: Itโs not logical, my man. Itโs just not logical.”
