Eric Pettit Lion

The Mill — Friday, August 21 at 9 p.m.

Burlington, Iowa lends Iowa City their homegrown river folk rockers this Friday night, Eric Pettit Lion. These four guys, (Eric Pettit, Dave Schwarm, Tim Buhmeyer, Greg Floyd) will deliver organic story-like songs through their Americana stylings and raw lyrics. Their sound nods back to American roots music mixed with a modern, gritty twang.

And don’t miss the opening band with Iowa City’s own Seth Wenger. Seth is unleashing his new arrangement, The Great Compromise, which is sure to give you a musical massage.
