The recycling containers at Iowa City’s South Riverside Recycling Center have moved further south, and can now be found at the Sturgis Ferry Park Recycling Center. The new location at 1700 S Riverside Dr is about a half-mile south of the previous center.

“Materials accepted will remain the same: flattened cardboard, mixed paper and cartons, plastic bottles and jugs, metal cans/foil, and glass bottles and jars,” the city said in a news release. “These recycling services are available to all service area residents living within Johnson County, Kalona, and Riverside.”

The other Iowa City drop-off recycling centers at the East Side Recycling Center (2401 Scott Blvd, SE) and the Iowa City Landfill and Recycling Center (3900 Hebl Ave, SW) will remain at their current locations, as will the Coralville Recycling Center (212 1st St).
