Horse Feathers dropped by Little Village Live yesterday evening to play us a few songs, a prelude to their show at The Mill that same night. Although they hail from the Pacific Northwest, last night marked Horse Feathers’ second trip to Iowa City. The band visited The Mill on the night of the 2008 election where, they assured us, President Barack Obama put up some serious competition.

The gang from Portland are in the midst of an extensive tour to promote the release of their third LP, Thistled Spring, which released last month. Despite the wet, downright gloomy day, the music of Horse Feathers lifts the spirits, so be sure to have a look at the following clips from their Little Village Live appearance.
