Hillary Clinton to encourage early voting in Cedar Rapids

With the election less than two weeks away, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be swinging through Cedar Rapids on Friday for an event aimed at encouraging women to vote early.

The Women Win Early Vote Rally will be held in the NewBo City Market (1100 3rd St. SE). Doors will open at 11:15 a.m. and the event starts at 1:15 p.m. Clinton will attend an event in Des Moines later in the day.

Update: Clinton’s Des Moines event will take place at Theodore Roosevelt High School (4419 Center St.) at 4:45 p.m. Doors will open at 2:45 p.m.
