Girls Girls Girls
Dunham is finally coming to Iowa City thanks to a collaboration between the Englert and Prairie Lights.

Prairie Lights announced today that Lena Dunham of HBO’s Girls will visit the Englert Theatre on October 7 at 7 p.m. in support of her new memoir, Not That Kind of Girl.

The actress, whose show has brought no shortage of controversy to Iowa City, will take part in a dialogue with novelist Curtis Sittenfeld. Poet Jenny Zhang will open, Prairie Lights says.

Tickets go on sale today at Prairie Lights and the Englert Theatre for $30. A signed copy of Dunham’s memoir is included with the price of admission. The event comes just two days after the 2014 Iowa City Book Festival.
