Funk, Soul and Rock n’Roll: The Main Squeeze perform at Gabe’s

The Main Squeeze

Gabe’s — Thursday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 p.m.

Exuding the best elements of soul, funk and rock n’ roll, The Main Squeeze performs tonight at Gabe’s at 8 p.m. Originally from Bloomington, Indiana, the five-piece band makes its home in Chicago’s thriving live music scene. The group has become a staple on the festival circuit, having played Bonnaroo, Electric Forest and Summer Camp, just to name a few. In the years since their 2011 release First Drops, they’ve shared the stage with a number of high-profile acts, including The Roots and Jane’s Addiction.

Doors open at 8 p.m., with opener Low Spark scheduled to start at 8:30 pm. Tickets for this 19+ show are $7.
