Harvest Dinner Party

Public Space One — Saturday, November 7, at 6 p.m.

Iowa City-based community organization Edible Outdoors (EO) will host a potluck dinner party at the Wesley Center of Public Space One this Saturday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. The ultimate goal of the potluck is to bring together hunted, fished, foraged or homegrown goods, though store-bought items will be accepted and shared just the same.

Edible Outdoors has been organizing and hosting events focused on the sustainability of foraging, hunting and fishing since early 2015. They have had family-friendly educational pop-up events nearly once a month, ranging from pheasant hunting to participating in Iowa City’s Local Food Fair.

The Harvest Dinner Party is free and open to the public, while the cooking demonstration, lead by chef Chris Grebner of The Farmer’s Table & Provender, costs $10. Registration for both events is required, and don’t forget to bring something to share!
