Deschutes Brewery’s giant, mobile beer sampling barrel — better known as Woody — will be stopping by the New Pioneer Food Co-op in Iowa City and Red’s Alehouse in North Liberty this Thursday, July 31.
Woody will be parked outside the New Pioneer Co-op (22 S Van Buren St.) from 3–5:30 p.m. with seven types of beer on tap, including the brewery’s summer blonde ale, River Ale.
From 7–9 p.m., Woody will be at Red’s Alehouse (405 N Dubuque Street, North Liberty) for a tap takeover. Eight different beers will be available, including Foray Belgian Style IPA.
