Camp Euforia (CE), one of Iowa’s longest-running independent music festivals, has announced the acts performing in its final festival this summer. After 17 years, the festival is being discontinued, and the last celebration will be held this July 14-16 in its usual beloved spot, Jerry’s Farm in Lone Tree.

In early 2020, festival organizers announced their plans to “close Camp Euforia on a high note in order to be able to focus creative energy on other passions and pursuits.” The final festival was postponed twice due to the pandemic.

This year’s festival includes more than 20 Midwestern acts. Eufórquestra, festival hosts and founders, will be performing three sets throughout the weekend. Their sound has a global influence with an emphasis on funk, soul and groove. Expect to see many past performers at the festival, including Cornmeal, the Chicago-based bluegrass band; the Uniphonics, an Iowa City jam band; Chicago Afrobeat Project, an afrobeat ensemble; and Flash in a Pan, a folk and grass string band from Iowa City.

“We are proud of the impact that we’ve been able to make in the lives of thousands of people through this festival,” Eric Quiner, CE’s executive director and former member of Eufórquestra, said in a press release. “It was important for us to close out this chapter with a lineup that encompasses many of the acts that the success of the festival was built on — it will be one epic celebration that will be worthy to hang our hat on.”

Tickets for CE are on sale now: $130 for a three-day pass, $110 for a two-day pass and $70 for Saturday only. Car and RV parking passes are also available.
