Call for submissions: Trump cover contest


Little Village wants your art for the anniversary of Trump’s election victory.

The first anniversary of the 2016 election is almost here, and Little Village is accepting cover submissions to commemorate the occasion. Please send your best Trump-themed cover art to jordan@littlevillagemag.com, before Monday, Oct. 23. The Little Village art and editorial teams will vote on the submissions and notify the winner by Oct. 27. The artist whose work is selected will receive $50.

CONTEST CRITERIA:

1. Artwork must be original.
2. Artwork must not be made public under any circumstances until the issue has been published online Tuesday, Oct. 31.
3. Artwork must follow dimension requirements to be considered (please download or view LV-COVER-SPECS.pdf for dimensions)
4. Artwork must be 300 dpi and should be sent as pdf, jpg, or tif. Please do not send files larger than 25 MB.
5. Artwork must be ready for print and submitted to jordan@littlevillagemag.com by 5 p.m., Monday, Oct. 23.
6. And please, no submissions that will put Little Village on the FBI watch list.

The contest winner will be announced to readers via the Little Village site and its social platforms on Tuesday, Oct. 31, and all other submissions will be displayed with artist credit in a slideshow.
