Synth-pop chanteuses Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig bring their skyrocketing band Lucius to the barn at Codfish Hollow for an early evening show on Thursday, Aug. 11. Supporting are Asheville, N.C.’s River Whyless, Lowlight, out of New Jersey, and Midwest pop duo Seasaw, down from Madison, Wis.

Lucius’ second full-length album, Good Grief, dropped in March. Laessig and Wolfe met in Boston, as students at the Berklee School of Music, in 2005. Although different in appearance and build, the two play with doubling in performance, dressing identically and keeping the same haircut and color, as well as singing in unison, for an eerie, ethereal feel that lures in the listener and never lets go.

Tickets to Thursday’s show are $20-25.
