Local music artist Bethann Gavin stopped by Little Village Live to sing a few songs and talk music with hosts Paul Sorenson and Matt Steele Wednesday.
The singer/songwriter, formerly of the Dubuque folk rock group River and the Tributaries, incorporates acoustic guitar, cello and mandolin into her music. With an interest in all things string, Gavin has more recently added the ukulele to her repertoire as well.
Gavin has recently formed a new group titled Bethann Gavin and the Low-Down Dirty Shame featuring Craig Heidgerken of The Uniphonics, Jeremiah Murphy of Public Property and drummer Jeff Gonzales.
You can listen to Little Village Live every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. on KRUI 89.7 FM, or stream it live.
