Antique collectors Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz will visit the Amana Colonies next month to film an upcoming episode of their television show American Pickers, according to a news release issued Thursday by the Amana Colonies Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Though filming is scheduled for June, official dates have not been confirmed at this time. Until then, producers are asking local residents (particularly those with large assortment of vintage goods) to contact the show with any leads or suggestions.
Think you’ve got something Wolfe and Fritz would be interested in? Invite them to stop by and check out your collection by calling 855-653-7878 or email americanpickers@cineflix.com with your name, number, address, description and photos.
American Pickers, now in its eighth season, airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on the History Channel. Wolfe, the show’s creator and co-host, grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa and currently operates an antique shop in nearby Le Claire, which served as a sort of home base for the first several seasons of the show.
