Opening Reception for Lucas Underwood: Grappler
Little Village HQ — Friday, Dec. 9 at 5 p.m.
Little Village is pleased to welcome the latest exhibit to our offices (623 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City). For the next month, we will be hosting Grappler, by Lucas Underwood, the third artist to brighten up our walls.
Grappler, a series of portraits of wrestlers, is one of several series by the artist, who focuses on portraiture and capturing the compelling expressions of his subjects.
An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Friday, Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served and Underwood will be in attendance to chat about his work.
