For the 12th year in a row, beer enthusiasts from across eastern Iowa will gather at Benz Beverage Depot (501 7th Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids) for an afternoon of sampling and camaraderie. Benz is renowned throughout the area for its broad selection and wide variety of beers.

This year, the festival will include 70 breweries and distributors, dispensing more than 300 different beers throughout the afternoon. There will also be food available for purchase. Cedar Rapids band The Strays will perform.

General admission tickets for the event are $25. The $40 VIP tickets get you in an hour earlier. Proceeds from the festival benefit the American Heart Association.
