The Pig & Porter (1028 3rd St. SE) opens today in Cedar Rapids’ New Bohemia District.

Co-owners Will Monk and Matt Melone met while working at Cobble Hill. Their new collaboration will be open for dinner only, featuring a selection of small and medium-sized plates and a limited number of large dishes made for sharing. Brunch (made to order, not a buffet) will be served on Sundays from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Jake Neiderhauser (formerly of Brazen in Dubuque) is running the bar program, chock-full of craft cocktails and regional beer.

They let us in over the weekend to take a quick look at the interior and hooked us up with a menu, which we’ve shared with our readers below.

The Pig & Porter will open daily at 5 p.m. starting today.
