Mission Creek officials revealed the first lineup details for 2014 today, boasting a list that includes famed composer Philip Glass and former Drive-By Truckers guitarist/songwriter Jason Isbell.

In addition to its usual slew of literature, film, lecture and music events, the 2014 festival will include a new Mission Creek Tech + Innovation Mini-Conference set for April 4-5, as well as a film series co-curated by FilmScene.

The festival — now in its ninth year — is scheduled for April 1-6 across participating downtown bookstores, clothing stores, cafes and performance spaces.

Tickets will be available for purchase online at Midwestix and The Englert Theatre box office starting Friday, December 13, officials announced.

A silver pass, which grants access to all Mission Creek Festival ticketed music and comedy performances, will be available for $125. Film screenings, culinary events and the Tech + Innovation mini-Conference will require additional tickets.

For $500, guests can pick up a Deluxe Pass that guarantees entrance to all Mission Creek ticketed event (free events are subject to capacity, officials note), including music and comedic performances, FilmScene film screenings, free meals at all culinary events, registration for the Tech + Innovation mini-conference, a special reception on Thursday, April 3 at the Plaza Towers and a post-show meet and greet with Philip Glass.

More information will be available via the official Mission Creek website, as it becomes available.
