Sonny’s Northside Tap to expand into former Taste of China location
Sonny’s Northside Tap owners Cassie and Tracy Barkalow purchased the 208 N Linn St space next door, formerly occupied by Taste of China. They plan to expand Sonny’s into that space by August and begin serving casual pub fare.

New construction may change Northside landscape in Iowa City
Iowa City’s Northside neighborhood might see a new, taller addition to the landscape if the Iowa City Council goes forward with a zoning change that would eliminate current parking requirements and other restrictions for the lot.
